In 2015, our founder, Klemen Štimulak, a professional cyclist at the time, at the end of his sporting career, founded Natekmi, a travel agency specialising in unique cycling trips. With a career spanning 25 countries – from Canada to China – and many cycling adventures, he wanted to share his passion for cycling with others. His career highlight was winning the national championship title in 2013, but more than his personal successes, he has been a reliable team player who has helped Slovenian cycling stars such as Primož Roglič, Luka Mezgec, Jan Tratnik and Jan Polanc. Despite his successes, he realised that he was not at the level to break into the world’s biggest teams, which prompted him to decide to pursue a new path – creating cycling experiences for others. His mission has been and remains to create unforgettable moments on a bike in the most beautiful destinations around the world, and to take care of his guests with a personal touch, just as he was taken care of during his professional career.

Today, Natekma is recognised as Slovenia’s leading specialist for cycling travel.
