GENERAL PROVISIONS

These General Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the contract concluded between Green Adventures Ltd. (hereinafter: Green Adventures) or an agency authorised on its behalf, and the traveller applying for a package tour organised by Green Adventures. In the event that an individual provision in the programme is regulated differently than in these General Terms and Conditions, the provisions stated in the programme shall prevail.

In the case of telephone sales or sales via the internet, it shall be deemed that the traveller has accepted these General Terms and Conditions at the moment they ordered the trip by telephone or via the internet. The traveller may ознакомиться themselves with the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions on the website www.gobiketravel.com, where they are specifically marked and publicly accessible.

The client and/or traveller is any person who has made a valid reservation or completed the purchase/payment of a package tour.

These General Terms and Conditions do not apply to the purchase of airline tickets or the sale of package tours organised by other providers where Green Adventures Ltd. acts as an intermediary. In such case, the traveller is bound by the general terms and conditions of the organiser and/or the air carrier and by international legislation in this field. These General Terms and Conditions also do not apply to health insurance with assistance abroad where Green Adventures Ltd. acts as an intermediary. In such case, the general terms and conditions of the insurance company apply.

REGISTRATION AND CONTRACT

A traveller may register for a package tour organised by Green Adventures Ltd. via the internet. The travel programme constitutes an offer. Based on the offer, the traveller registers for the selected package tour either in writing or verbally. Upon registration, the traveller receives a document issued by Green Adventures Ltd. (invoice/travel contract), showing all data regarding the ordered package tour and additional services, as well as the payment schedule and any other agreements. The traveller is obliged to review the document and, in the event of any disagreement or error, submit a complaint within one day of its issuance. By payment of the first instalment (deposit), the contract shall be deemed concluded.

Upon registration, the traveller must provide the required information and submit the documents required by the package tour programme and execute payment in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions. If the traveller does not provide accurate information upon registration, they are responsible for all costs or consequences arising from incorrect information.

The traveller’s registration is binding. The traveller may withdraw from it in accordance with the provisions on the traveller’s cancellation of travel. In addition to payment of the first instalment, any registration or order submitted verbally or in writing that contains the traveller’s name and surname and those of other participants, a credit card number or identification of another payment instrument, payment or partial payment of the package tour price, or another conclusive act indicating that the traveller has submitted a binding registration, shall also be considered binding.

The above conditions do not apply to package tours organised by Green Adventures Ltd. for so-called closed groups or to tailor-made (individual) package tours. In such case, the travel programme constitutes an offer, and based on the offer, the traveller registers in writing by completing a registration form prepared based on the conditions in the programme or by any other written confirmation. By completing the registration form or submitting personal data of travellers, the contract shall be deemed concluded, and in the event of cancellation, the traveller must cover all costs in accordance with the provisions on cancellation.

Green Adventures Ltd. is obliged, in accordance with the contract, to provide the traveller with services that have the content and characteristics as announced in the contract or programme of the package tour and to safeguard the traveller’s rights and interests in accordance with good business practice.

The traveller is obliged to ensure that they personally, their travel documents and their luggage comply with border, customs, sanitary, monetary and other administrative regulations. Green Adventures Ltd. has the right to refuse registration of a traveller if it reasonably assumes in advance that these conditions are not fulfilled or may not be fulfilled during the journey.

III. REGISTRATION FEE AND DEPOSIT

Green Adventures Ltd. charges the client standard reservation costs and offer preparation costs in accordance with the published announcement for each reservation. Green Adventures Ltd. may determine different reservation costs for an individual package tour. In the case of more complex tailor-made offers for individual travel, Green Adventures Ltd. may charge the traveller EUR 21.00 as a deposit for preparing the offer. If the traveller does not accept the offer, the deposit shall not be refunded.

SALE OF AIRLINE TICKETS

In the sale of airline tickets, the conditions determined by the carrier apply. The traveller is informed about the conditions for the sale of airline tickets before or at the time of purchase by Green Adventures Ltd. In the sale of airline tickets, Green Adventures Ltd. acts solely as an intermediary for the conclusion of the reservation and the execution of payment. In such case, the traveller is bound by the general terms and conditions of the organiser and/or the air carrier and international legislation in this field.

Green Adventures Ltd. is not responsible for the performance of the flight nor for the traveller’s choice of carrier. The traveller independently chooses the carrier according to their wishes and criteria and bears responsibility for this choice. Green Adventures Ltd. is responsible for providing the traveller with all necessary information required for travel.

The service of Green Adventures Ltd. is completed when the reservation confirmation has been delivered to the traveller and the airline ticket issued. From that moment onward, the traveller is in a direct relationship with the responsible air carrier. In the event of non-performance or inadequate performance of the flight, the traveller must address claims for reimbursement directly to the carrier.

PAYMENT

The payment date shall be the day when the traveller makes payment directly to Green Adventures Ltd. or an authorised agency, or when Green Adventures Ltd. receives payment to its transaction account.

Upon registration, the traveller pays 30% of the travel price. The remaining amount must be paid at least 10 days before departure, unless otherwise specified in the document (contract/invoice). Timely payment constitutes confirmed reservation.

If the traveller fails to pay within the agreed deadline, this shall be considered cancellation of the package tour and the provisions on traveller cancellation apply.

The traveller undertakes to pay any difference arising from a calculation error on the issued document. Green Adventures Ltd. undertakes to refund any overcharged amount resulting from a calculation error. This obligation applies until the end of the financial year.

PRICES

Package tour prices are determined in the programme and are valid from the date of publication until change. The price includes services listed in the programme.

In accordance with applicable legislation, Green Adventures Ltd. may change the price after conclusion of the contract due to exchange rate changes or changes in carrier tariffs affecting the package tour price. The traveller shall be notified in writing no later than 20 days before departure.

If the increase exceeds 8%, the traveller may withdraw from the contract without compensation for damages.

For conversion, the exchange rate of the Bank of Slovenia shall be used.

VII. AIRLINE TICKET PRICES

Prices of products listed on websites and in advertising materials are of an informative nature. Exact prices of individual products are provided to travellers at the office, by telephone or by email. The prices provided to the traveller in the offer include all fees and surcharges, unless otherwise specified due to the nature of the service or product.

Airline ticket prices provided by Green Adventures Ltd. are valid only on the day of reservation. The airline ticket may be issued within a specified time limit; however, the airline reserves the right to change the price.

VIII. ARRANGEMENTS WHERE GREEN ADVENTURES LTD. IS NOT THE ORGANISER OF THE TRIP

If Green Adventures Ltd. is not the organiser of the package tour, it acts in the role of an informant. In such cases, it provides the traveller with information received from the organiser and assists with registration.

The conditions of registration, payment and possible cancellation of the package tour are in accordance with the valid conditions of the organiser. The organiser of the package tour is stated on the document issued by Green Adventures Ltd.

It is considered that Green Adventures Ltd. sells such package tours in another’s name and for another’s account. Any complaint shall be resolved by the traveller with the organiser, and Green Adventures Ltd. shall provide all necessary assistance.

SPECIAL SERVICES

Special services are those services that are generally not included in the package tour price (single room, special diet, other optional supplements, etc.) or for which surcharges are specified in the programme (visas, other supplements, etc.), and therefore the traveller pays for them separately unless otherwise stated in the programme.

If special services are available for a specific package tour, the traveller must request them at registration and pay for them in addition to the travel price.

Published prices of special services apply only if these services are ordered and paid for at the time of registration. During the trip, the traveller pays for special services to the tour leader or representative of Green Adventures Ltd. at the place where the service is performed, in the appropriate currency, if it is still possible to order the service during the trip, at the price valid at the location.

If a traveller registers individually for a package tour, they may allow Green Adventures Ltd. to attempt to find a roommate with whom they can share a room. Regardless of this, an individually registered traveller must pay the single room supplement at registration. If a roommate is found, the supplement shall be refunded after the trip.

If two travellers register together for a shared room and one cancels before departure, the remaining traveller bears the cost of the single room supplement if another roommate cannot be found.

CANCELLATION FEE (CANCELLATION INSURANCE)

Upon registration, the traveller may choose to pay a cancellation fee (cancellation insurance). The conditions of cancellation insurance are determined by the general terms and conditions of the insurance company and in accordance with its valid price list.

TRAVELLER’S CHANGE OF CONTRACT OR CANCELLATION OF THE PACKAGE TOUR

The traveller has the right to request a change to the contract (e.g. change of name, additional services, change of accommodation, etc.) after its conclusion. Green Adventures Ltd. is obliged to verify whether such change is possible.

In the event of a contract change at the traveller’s request, Green Adventures Ltd. may charge administrative costs in the amount of EUR 21.00 per change, unless otherwise stated in these General Terms and Conditions. If additional costs arise (e.g. airline ticket change), the traveller must cover them.

The traveller has the right to cancel the package tour at the office where they registered or directly at the registration point of Green Adventures Ltd.

If the traveller cancels the package tour, Green Adventures Ltd. has the right to reimbursement of costs depending on the time remaining until departure. In all cases, Green Adventures Ltd. requires reimbursement of administrative reservation costs in the amount of EUR 21.00.

Unless otherwise specified in the programme, the following cancellation costs apply:

For package tours:

  • cancellation 60 to 45 days before departure: 15% of the package price

  • cancellation 44 to 30 days before departure: 30%

  • cancellation 29 to 22 days before departure: 50%

  • cancellation 21 to 15 days before departure: 80%

  • cancellation later than 15 days before departure: 100%

For one-day package tours:

  • cancellation 45 to 30 days before departure: 7%

  • cancellation 29 to 22 days before departure: 20%

  • cancellation 21 to 15 days before departure: 30%

  • cancellation 14 to 8 days before departure: 50%

  • cancellation 7 to 1 day (24 hours) before departure: 80%

  • cancellation on the day of departure (less than 24 hours): 100%

Regardless of the above cancellation costs, they may differ if required by the conditions of organising the trip or by business partners.

Upon cancellation before departure, the traveller must submit a written cancellation or sign a cancellation document issued by Green Adventures Ltd. If the traveller refuses to sign or confirm the document, it shall be considered that the trip was not cancelled.

During the trip, the traveller may terminate the package tour at their own request. In such case, no refund applies.

If the traveller changes the programme at their own request or does not travel according to the programme forming part of the contract, it is considered that the traveller has withdrawn from the contract during the trip. The traveller is responsible for all costs and damage caused.

Green Adventures Ltd. or an authorised person may refuse participation before departure or on the day of departure if the traveller could endanger the health or property of themselves or others or is clearly under the influence of alcohol, drugs or similar substances.

Green Adventures Ltd. may also require a traveller to leave the group during the trip if they do not comply with regulations or behave inappropriately.

Green Adventures Ltd. shall claim full compensation for any damage caused by the traveller due to improper conduct.

If Green Adventures Ltd. is not the organiser, cancellation costs are determined by the organiser’s general terms.

XII. ORGANISER’S CHANGE OF PROGRAMME OR CANCELLATION OF THE TRIP

In accordance with applicable legislation, Green Adventures Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the package tour if the minimum required number of travellers is not reached.

Notification deadlines:

  • 20 days before departure (tours longer than 6 days)

  • 7 days before departure (tours lasting 2–6 days)

  • 48 hours before departure (tours shorter than 2 days)

If departure is expressly guaranteed in writing, cancellation is only possible if fewer than the minimum required number of travellers register.

Green Adventures Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw fully or partially from the contract in case of extraordinary circumstances that could not have been foreseen, avoided or removed.

Green Adventures Ltd. may cancel the contract and claim damages if the traveller intentionally provides incorrect information.

The company reserves the right to change departure times, routes or cancel due to flight schedule changes or force majeure without special compensation.

Liability is limited to the non-performance of specific material parts of the programme. No liability is assumed for non-material damages.

If the package tour is cancelled by Green Adventures Ltd., the traveller is entitled to a full refund of the paid amount, but not visa or vaccination costs.

If accommodation is not possible at the booked facility, accommodation of equal or higher category will be provided in the same location.

XIII. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS OF AIRLINE TICKETS

A change of product or service (e.g. change of date, destination, etc.) is possible only if the conditions of the product or service allow it. Each change is associated with additional costs as determined by the provider’s conditions, about which the traveller has been informed in advance and only if the requested change is permitted under those conditions.

The traveller has the right to cancel a product or service at any time; however, cancellation costs apply in accordance with the conditions of the individual product or service from the moment of cancellation.

If, at the time of confirming the airline ticket, the traveller anticipates that due to certain circumstances (which may arise for the traveller or their immediate family) they may not participate in the trip, they may purchase cancellation insurance. The conditions of cancellation insurance are determined by the general terms and conditions of the insurance company and in accordance with its valid price list.

If the airline cancels the flight, the traveller is entitled to a full refund of the paid price. However, the traveller is not entitled to reimbursement of visa costs required for entry into the country, vaccination costs required by that country, or the cost of purchased cancellation insurance.

XIV. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

The traveller must possess a valid passport or another valid document that allows entry into the country to which or through which they are travelling. The traveller must ensure compliance with all provisions regarding the validity of travel documents. The validity of the document is considered on the LAST day of the trip.

Green Adventures Ltd. is not responsible for any inconvenience or forced interruption of travel arising from this.

The traveller is obliged to obtain visas required for the respective countries. If the traveller fails to fulfil this obligation, Green Adventures Ltd. acts in accordance with the provisions on traveller cancellation of the package tour.

If Green Adventures Ltd. arranges a visa for the traveller, it does not guarantee successful issuance. Visa acquisition costs are non-refundable. In the event of refusal of entry or other obstacles, all costs are borne by the traveller.

It shall be considered that the traveller arranges the visa independently if they do not provide all required documents to Green Adventures Ltd. within the prescribed deadline, regardless of whether payment for the visa process has already been made.

Due to requirements in international passenger transport (air, sea, bus, etc.), the traveller must provide all necessary information about all registered participants at the time of booking. The information must fully correspond to the official documents required for border crossing.

If incorrect information causes delays, additional costs, or interruption of travel for other participants, the traveller who provided the information is responsible for all resulting costs.

If the traveller loses documents during travel or they are stolen and are necessary for continuing the journey or returning home, the traveller must obtain replacements at their own expense. If the trip must be interrupted due to such loss, the traveller is not entitled to any refund.

PRE-DEPARTURE INFORMATION

The traveller receives final information no later than 5 days before departure.

Any damage resulting from providing an incomplete or incorrect address shall be borne by the traveller.

If the traveller does not receive the information within the specified time, they are obliged to contact the registration point and request it. Complaints based on non-receipt of mail are not considered by Green Adventures Ltd.

XVI. HEALTH REGULATIONS

The traveller must obtain vaccinations required for the destination country.

If specific vaccinations are required or listed in the programme, each traveller must independently obtain an international vaccination certificate (yellow booklet) with recorded vaccinations.

Green Adventures Ltd. is not responsible for complications or interruption of the package tour due to non-compliance with health regulations of the destination country, nor for any related costs.

XVII. CUSTOMS AND FOREIGN EXCHANGE REGULATIONS

The traveller must comply with customs and foreign exchange regulations of the Republic of Slovenia and of all other countries visited or transited.

If the traveller cannot continue travel due to non-compliance, they bear all consequences and costs for themselves and other participants.

XVIII. LUGGAGE

Green Adventures Ltd. is not responsible for the transport, theft or damage of luggage or personal belongings, valuables or documents from accommodation facilities (hotel rooms, apartments, etc.) or means of transport (aircraft, buses, ships, etc.).

The traveller must report lost or damaged luggage directly to the carrier or hotel.

Transport of special luggage (bicycles, surfboards, golf equipment, skis, musical instruments, etc.) must be declared at registration and paid according to carrier rules unless otherwise specified in the programme.

The traveller is entitled to free transport of luggage weight according to carrier rules. Any additional weight must be paid on-site. Children under two years of age are not entitled to free baggage allowance.

Low-cost carriers typically allow lower baggage weight limits compared to regular carriers. Additional kilograms must be paid separately.

XIX. INFORMATION

Information provided at the registration point does not bind Green Adventures Ltd. more than the statements in the programme or written offer.

In case of doubt, the written offer, invoice, travel contract, written information or written explanation shall prevail.

COMPLAINTS

The traveller must report irregularities to the representative of Green Adventures Ltd. immediately at the location where they occur.

If a complaint could have been resolved on-site and the traveller did not report it, it shall be considered that the traveller accepted the service and forfeits the right to later claims.

A written complaint may be submitted within two months from the date of improper service. Otherwise, Green Adventures Ltd. will not consider it.

The complaint must be substantiated and supported by appropriate evidence or confirmation from the hotel, carrier or other relevant provider.

Green Adventures Ltd. must respond in writing within 8 days of receipt.

Compensation is limited to the amount paid for the trip or the actual value of unperformed services.

The traveller must fulfil payment obligations regardless of a submitted complaint. Any compensation shall be paid after completion of the complaint procedure.

XXI. INSURANCE AND RISK

Tours are active outdoor trips where unforeseen events and injuries may occur.

Green Adventures Ltd. will make every effort to ensure maximum safety but cannot eliminate all risks.

The company strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance including coverage for sports and adventure activities.

Neither Green Adventures Ltd. nor its partners assume responsibility for damage, costs or losses arising from inadequate insurance.

Participation is voluntary, and the traveller accepts all associated risks.

XXII. LIABILITY FOR AIR CARRIER PUNCTUALITY

Green Adventures Ltd. is not responsible for airline punctuality on scheduled or charter flights, nor for flight delays or changes resulting from such delays.

If the airline cancels the flight before departure, the traveller is entitled to a full refund of the paid amount but not to reimbursement of visa or vaccination costs.

XXIII. USE OF DATA

Green Adventures Ltd. protects all personal data in accordance with personal data protection legislation.

All collected data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at:
