Chase the Adriatic!

Sea, mountains, and sunshine — the perfect trio that turns the Makarska Riviera and Biokovo Nature Park into a dream cycling destination. Before the peak tourist season kicks off, you’ll ride 60 kilometers of quiet coastal roads, explore charming historic towns just inland, and conquer Croatia’s highest paved road all the way to the summit of Sveti Jure at 1,762 meters.

Throughout the trip, we stay in one hotel the entire time — which means more time to enjoy things your way! Whether you want full days in the saddle, downtime by the hotel pool, or a taste of spring on beautiful pebble beaches, everything is within easy reach — and there’s no wrong choice.

Join us for this one-of-a-kind adventure!

On average, we’ll ride 95 km per day and tackle around 1,422 meters of elevation gain daily.  All of our trips are designed for maximum enjoyment on the bike. If any stage feels too challenging, our support vehicle is always available, so you can shorten the route whenever you need. Every stage can be adjusted to fit each rider’s abilities and preferences.

Day 1

Hello Croatia!

Your cycling adventure begins at Split Airport, where we meet at 12:00 PM and travel together to Tučepi, a beautiful seaside town on the Makarska Riviera. After arriving, you’ll check into the hotel, unpack, and settle in as we get everything ready for the week ahead.

Our team will help you with bike setup, equipment checks, and final adjustments, making sure everything is dialed in and ready for your first ride. Later in the afternoon, you’ll have time to explore Tučepi at your own pace — enjoy a relaxed walk along the coast, take in the views, or go for a refreshing swim in the Adriatic.

In the evening, we come together for dinner and a short welcome meeting, where we introduce the itinerary and go through the plan for the days ahead. It’s the perfect way to start the trip — easy, social, and full of excitement for what’s to come.

⭐ Today’s Must-See Highlights

  • Tučepi – A laid-back coastal gem known for its long pebble beach, crystal-clear sea, and stunning mountain backdrop. The perfect place to unwind, recharge, and kick off an unforgettable week of cycling.
Day 2 - Cycling from Makarska to Mostar

A Ride Across Borders & Timeless Landscapes!

Our first cycling day kicks off in Tučepi, and we don’t waste any time — the route quickly tilts upward as we tackle the day’s main climb toward Gornje Igrane. After the ascent, you’ll be rewarded with a fast, scenic descent as we head inland, riding through quiet roads and wide-open views past Vrgorac.

Next comes a true highlight: we cross the Croatia–Bosnia and Herzegovina border and continue toward Čapljina, a town shaped by the stunning Neretva River. From here, we follow the river upstream, pedaling deeper into the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina — a ride packed with dramatic scenery, local culture, and that unforgettable “we’re really doing this” feeling.

After 107 km, we arrive in our final destination: Mostar. We load the bikes into our support vehicle, and you’ll have free time to explore the city’s iconic old town. Wander through its narrow cobblestone streets, admire the legendary Stari Most (Old Bridge), and treat yourself to authentic Bosnian specialties before we hop back into the vans for a comfortable transfer to the Makarska Riviera.

⭐ Today’s Must-See Highlights

  • Mostar (107 km) – One of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most famous and photogenic cities, known for its UNESCO-listed old town, Ottoman-era architecture, lively bazaars, and the iconic Stari Most bridge spanning the emerald Neretva River. A perfect mix of history, culture, and unforgettable atmosphere.

Day 3 - Cycling from Makarska to Omiš and back

Coastal Rollercoaster!

Our second cycling day starts with a stunning coastal ride toward Omiš, one of Croatia’s most dramatic seaside towns, tucked between towering cliffs and the mouth of the Cetina River. This is the kind of place that instantly feels like a movie set — wild scenery, historic charm, and that unmistakable Adriatic vibe.

The entire route is beautifully rolling, with a constant rhythm of short climbs and fun descents. Expect one postcard view after another, peaceful backroads, and plenty of moments where you’ll want to slow down just to take it all in. It’s a perfect day for building momentum, enjoying the flow, and riding as a group at a relaxed but sporty pace.

We return on a loop route via a parallel inland road, giving you a fresh perspective away from the main coastal stretch — quieter, more local, and just as scenic. To finish the day, we cruise back along the coastline toward Makarska, soaking up the sea breeze and ending the ride with pure Mediterranean energy.

⭐ Today’s Must-See Highlights

  • Omiš (54 km) – A legendary coastal town known for its dramatic canyon setting, medieval fortress views, and the Cetina River flowing into the Adriatic. Once famous for pirates, today it’s a must-stop for its unique scenery, charming old streets, and unforgettable photo spots.

Day 4 - Cycling from Lake Peruća to the Krka River

Through Croatia’s Wild Heart!

Today starts a little differently. In the morning, we load the bikes into our support vehicle and enjoy a comfortable transfer to our starting point at Lake Peruća. From there, we clip in and begin the ride — and before long, we take on the only climb of the day.

After the ascent, the route opens up into a fun and fast descent on smooth, quiet roads as we roll down into the valley. Soon we cross the Krka River, which means we’ve officially entered Krka National Park — a stunning region known for its untouched landscapes, peaceful roads, and that true “off-the-beaten-path” feeling.

We continue riding to our finish point, where we load the bikes back into the support vehicle. Then it’s time to switch gears and enjoy a well-earned walk through one of Croatia’s most iconic natural areas, taking in the famous Krka River cascades and the incredible scenery all around you. After the visit, we transfer back to Makarska.

⭐ Today’s Must-See Highlights

  • Krka National Park (68 km) – A breathtaking protected area filled with emerald river scenery, forested paths, and authentic Dalmatian nature. A perfect change of pace from the coast and a true highlight of inland Croatia.
  • Krka River Cascades – One of Croatia’s most famous natural landmarks, known for its crystal-clear water, dramatic limestone formations, and picture-perfect viewpoints along the river.

Day 5 - Cycling from Makarska to Ston

Adriatic Coastline Ride!

Today is all about a long, unforgettable coastal ride, packed with stunning views and that fresh Adriatic sea breeze. We follow the shoreline for most of the day, cycling past a string of charming seaside towns where the scenery never stops delivering.

One of the best parts? You can take it all in at your own pace — whenever you feel like it, we can stop for a coffee or a cold drink right by the water and enjoy the relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.

Along the way, we cross the Croatia–Bosnia and Herzegovina border again — but this time only briefly. We ride through Neum, the only coastal town in Bosnia and Herzegovina, before returning back into Croatia and continuing toward our final destination.

We finish the stage in Ston, a historic town famous for its impressive stone walls. Often compared to a “mini Great Wall,” Ston’s fortifications once protected the valuable salt pans and played a key role in the region’s history. After exploring, we hop into the vans for a comfortable transfer back along the same route you conquered by bike.

⭐ Today’s Must-See Highlights

  • Ploče (48 km) – A perfect taste of local Dalmatia: roadside stands filled with fresh mandarins, grown all around the nearby Neretva Valley. A great spot for a quick stop and a true local experience.
  • Neum (78 km) – Bosnia and Herzegovina’s only seaside town, offering a unique change of scenery and a fun “border-crossing” moment on the ride. A memorable checkpoint with beautiful coastal views.
  • Ston (110 km) – A historic gem known for its remarkable medieval walls and rich heritage. A must-see stop for its unique atmosphere, incredible views from the fortifications, and authentic southern Dalmatian charm.

Day 6 - Cycling on St. Jure Peak

The Ultimate Adriatic Climb!

It’s our final day — D-Day. Today we take on the biggest challenge of the entire trip: the highest peak on the Adriatic coast. The climb to St. Jure is one of the most iconic rides in the region, and for good reason.

Starting right from the coastline, we begin the steady ascent and gain a massive 1,762 meters of elevation. Over the course of roughly 30 km of climbing, the views keep getting bigger, the air gets cooler, and the feeling of achievement builds with every switchback.

At the top, we reach the summit and are rewarded with an unforgettable panoramic view stretching far into the distance — a true “once-in-a-lifetime” cycling moment. After soaking it all in, we descend the same route back to the hotel, where a well-earned final evening awaits. We wrap up the week the best way possible: with great food, a celebratory drink, and a proper end-of-tour atmosphere.

⭐ Today’s Must-See Highlights

  • St. Jure (31 km) – The highest paved climb in Croatia and the crown jewel of Biokovo. A legendary ascent rising straight from the sea, with epic switchbacks, dramatic scenery, and a summit view that makes every pedal stroke worth it.
